Barbershop Quartet

 

 

BIOGRAPHY

GLORY DAYS was formed in August 2006.

The quartet competed in Jacksonville, FL in May 2007
and qualified to compete at the International Barbershop Quartet Competition
in Denver, CO in July 2007.

The quartet continued on to Denver, CO in July of 2007 competing in all three rounds
of quartet competition to finish in 6th place overall.

Steve DeCrow - tenor

Steve DeCrow is a graduate of the University of North Texas,
holding a Bachelor of Music Education.
Steve and his wife, Wendy, have one daughter,
Savannah, who is six years old.

The DeCrow family lives in the North Dallas
area where Steve works as a music educator
at Lewisville High School.

Before forming Glory Days,
Steve sang with the award-winning vocal group,
" Vantage Point".

Steve is also the tenor section leader
of the International Award-winning vocal group
"The Vocal Majority".

 

 

Tim Reynolds - lead

Tim Reynolds does something with computers
that nobody really understands.
He's really smart.

He and his wife, Amy, reside in Atlanta, GA
with their four energetic children
who keep them very busy.

Before forming GLORY DAYS,
Tim sang with the award-winning vocal group
"Riptide".

Tim is also a leader and founding member
of the Atlanta-based vocal ensemble
"The Atlanta Vocal Project".

 

 

Rick Middaugh - baritone

Rick Middaugh lives in Houston, TX with his wife, Tiffany,
and his youngest children, Michael and Lauren.
Rick recently became a grandfather,
and enjoys every opportunity
to spoil his first grandchild.

Rick owns and operates
"Champion Home Services"
when he's not reclining by the water front
at his lake house near the Gulf of Mexico.

Before forming GLORY DAYS,
Rick helped form,
and continues to sing lead for the
award-winning vocal group,
ACOUSTIX.

 

 

Joel T. Rutherford - bass

Joel T. Rutherford is a professional singer
and music educator. He holds three music degrees
from two universities in Ontario, CANADA.

Joel and his wife, Heather, live in Dallas, TX
with their children, Joshua and Grace.

Joel works at
Prestonwood Christian Academy
in Plano, TX as Director of Fine Arts.

In addition to singing
with GLORY DAYS,
Joel also sings Bass for
the award-winning vocal group,
ACOUSTIX.

ACOUSTIX continues to perform,
entertaining audiences for barbershop shows,
corporate events, community concerts,
and private parties in the US
and around the world.
